Our Founders:
Brian Gobrogge
President and CEO
Co-founder of Cospheric, Brian Gobrogge leads the company as President
& CEO. Previously he played leadership roles in CBRITE Inc and
Gyricon LLC, where he was responsible for intellectual property,
strategic alliance, finance and engineering functions. Brian has over 15 years experience in the production and processing of
microspheres and microparticles. He launched
seven digital display products and started several brown field
operations.
Brian is also a co-founder of Berserker Cycle Design, a company that designs and manufactures off-road recumbent tricycles enabling people with neck and back injuries to ride in comfort.
Brian earned a Bachelors degree in
Mechanical Engineering from University of Michigan and received an
executive MBA from University of Toledo. He lives in beautiful Santa
Barbara, CA.
Yelena Lipovetskaya
Chief Technology Officer
Co-founder of Cospheric, Yelena Lipovetskaya leads technology
development efforts. Yelena has over 10 years experience taking new
technologies from concept to production in a variety of industries,
including digital displays, optical fiber, and medical devices. Prior
to joining Cospheric, she was leading R&D of electronic paper
development for CBRITE Inc. Prior to that, she held technical positions
at Xerox Corp, Corning Inc, Cardinal Health, and Gyricon LLC. Yelena has been developing and manufacturing microspheres for high tech applications for over 7 years. She has been working with pigmented charged powders for over 10 years, starting with her experience at Xerox toner pilot plant in Webster, NY. She has a deep understanding of the chemistry, rheology, charging, and processing to produce perfect spheres and coatings that will meet your needs.
Yelena has a Bachelors degree in Chemical Engineering from Polytechnic University in New York (which has been since renamed NYU-Poly) and a Masters
degree in Materials Science and Engineering from Rochester Institute of
Technology.
Yelena lives in Santa Barbara, CA with her two daughters, 5-year old Sasha and 3-year old Veronica. Yelena recently launched a parenting resource website and an on-line store offering unique, colorful, made in USA and Canada products for children.
